About us
Salmagundi Films
Founded by Zoe Flynn and Bo Chapman in 2004, Salmagundi Films is a socially engaged film production company specialising in stop-frame animation.
We work with people of all ages and abilities, to give them a platform for creative expression and a voice. Our work celebrates the human condition and seeks to promote inclusion, empathy and understanding, by producing films that raise awareness and challenge the way we look at things.
With Animation anything can happen. It is a creative tool that encourages the use of visual metaphors, to think outside the box. This liberation from the ‘literal’ can enable participants to explore and communicate potentially difficult or sensitive issues.
Salmagundi Films work collaboratively with both established organisations, groups and individuals on :
- Awareness Campaigns
- Education Projects
- Cross Generational Initiatives
- Community Events
- Training Courses,
as well as producing their own films
