Announcement:
Salmagundi Films would like to announce that their concept FRAMES OF MIND® is now a registered trademark.


6th UK Dementia Congress, Liverpool:
Salmagundi Films and Housing 21 Research and Development present the case study/evaluation of their FRAMES OF MIND® project in Walsall.


A Few of My Favorite Things:
Central & Cecil Housing Services. A FRAMES OF MIND® pilot at Church Walk House. The project involved staff and the participation of family members, with the aim to highlight the benefits of Arts interventions.
The films were screened at a Garden Party Event attended by the Worshipful Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet Councillor Lisa Rutter, and featured at the Ageing Artfully Conference and National Learning Event, The Baring Foundation in Manchester.


A New Direction:
Arts Council (formally Creative Partnerships) in their FINAL year and Salmagundi Films were involved in 3 projects.


Inspired by Traction Man!
Voices of London - Kender Primary School: Yr 2's used found objects and their school environment as inspiration for their own animated action Hero film. Yr 5's discovered cable nests of killer worms in their I.T. suite... could this be the end of education as we know it?


A Games Special:
Colegrave News - Colegrave Primary School. Staff and Yr 4 pupils were trained in filmmaking and stop frame animation to deliver a sustainable project around the theme of games. The films, and interactive quiz game were presented at Stratford Picture House and at The Museum of London.



Newham Summer School

Salmagundi Films ran two courses again this year:
Video Gaming and SummerHorrordays, their annual master class in the genre of Horror with 14-18 year olds.
